Chamber music concerts at the highest level offer pure pleasure for the guests and locals of Frutigland during the Swiss Chamber Music Festival from 11 to 19 September 2020.
The classical music festival offers the winners of the ORPHEUS – Swiss Chamber Music Competition a prominent opportunity to perform. In December 2019, a top-class jury selected the ensembles that will perform at the Swiss Chamber Music Festival in Adelboden in autumn 2020:
- 1st prize NERIDA Quartet: Saskia Niehl (violin), Nevena Tochev (violin), Petro Montemagni (viola), Alma Tedde (cello)
- 2nd prize Duo Sikrona: Lovisa Ehrenkrona (violin), Alexandra Sikorskaya (piano)
- 3rd prize Atreus Trio: Gregor Hänssler (violin), Samuel Niederhauser (cello), Victor Jugovic (piano)
We are glad to be able to put on a top-class festival despite the adverse circumstances in the year of the corona pandemic. For the first time, the Swiss Chamber Music Festival is also creating a sound-audio trail: from 4 September 2020, various sound venues in Adelboden's natural surroundings will invite young and old to listen, experiment and explore. The sound installations were forged by our association president Peter Wüthrich himself, see for yourself!
