Reformed church Adelboden

One of the most important historical buildings in Adelboden is undoubtedly the late Gothic church in the centre of the village.
Built in 1433 and reformed since the 16th century, the church is ideal for concerts with smaller formations. The choir windows made by Augusto Giacometti, the spacious nave and the central location are special features. The church has excellent acoustics and an excellent infrastructure and is therefore - in addition to its function as a church - an extremely popular concert hall.

Bildungszentrum Holzbau BZH Frutigen

In 2020 a still almost dewy building enters the circle of eccentric performance venues: the Bildungszentrum Holzbau, which was built within a year by local companies and opened in summer 2017. In the opening year, the "Swiss Skills", the professional Swiss championships for carpenters, were held there. The best ensembles of the Swiss ORPHEUS Competition perform year after year in Frutigen under the label "Favourites of Switzerland".

Reformed church Kandersteg

The Reformed church Kandersteg is of special intimacy. This is related to its foundation history. Originally it was not intended as a village church, but as a chapel for the travellers who stood before or after the dangerous crossing of the Alps. Built in 1510, it was extended in the 17th century. With its manageable size it is particularly suitable for chamber music - in 2018 the partnership of the Kandersteg church with the Adelboden Festival begins.
